CHINA Until July 25 2008, Zhang Huan’s 2 gallery show at Pace Wildenstein in New York displays gigantic pieces of festival scale work. Known mainly for his eye-watering challenging performance art, the scale (architectural) and materials (dead animals) of Zhang Huan’s works in this show recall Damien Hirst.
