New York City Meet Up 2012: Christie’s Old Masters Sales tour with John Hall Venice

For over 35 years, the John Hall Venice course has been offering a unique educational experience introducing young people to the magnificent cultural and scientific achievements of Europe from classical times to the present day through a series of lectures and site visits.

INVITATION

I am writing to tell you that I will be in New York City in December 2012 and I would like to invite any of you who are in town on Thursday 20 December to take a small, exclusive tour with my brother Nicholas, who is International Co-Chairman of Old Masters & Nineteenth Century Art at Christie’s, around some of the highlights of their January 2013 sale of Renaissance paintings, including a stunning Botticelli.

We will meet by the front desk of Christie’s, 20 Rockefeller Centre NY, NY 10020, at 6pm and spend some time in the galleries. Then, depending on numbers, we’ll go for a warming glass of something nearby.

This, I hope, will be the first of many Meet Ups organised by us. It will be a great opportunity to catch up, perhaps introduce potential students and parents to us and for us to answer any questions about learning with us.
