Christie’s is now wrapping up their intake for their spring 2013 internships. Unpaid positions are available in several departments, including at the Christie’s-affiliated contemporary art gallery, Haunch of Venison. The Nomadic Village project invites artists to submit project proposals that build on the theme of “nomadism”. Now in its third year, the programme brings together international artists for a two-week residency that is situated next to an existing nomadic population. Palais de Tokyo is running a contemporary art course for young artists exploring 3D artistic practice. Those working in the medium are encouraged to submit works to be judged by a panel of contemporary art experts. Ten winners will be selected to participate in a three-day masters’ class. Preliminary works from the class will then be judged by the panel, with the top prize being up to EUR30,000 to produce the work. MORE HERE
