OPEN CALL  Hong Kong | Asia Art Archive Open Platform – apply by 9 January 2015

Asia Art Archive‘s third annual Open Platform programme, held in association with Art Basel Hong Kong (ABHK), is an integral part of AAA’s endeavour to enable new thinking and critical dialogue around recent art in Asia. AAA invites cultural practitioners from all disciplines to submit proposals for Open Platform, which will take place in March 2015. COURSE Netherlands | De Appel Arts Centre Curatorial Programme – apply by 12 January 2015

The ten-month long full-time Curatorial Programme (running from September until June) is practice-based and structured along the principles of ‘learning by doing’ and ‘collective curating’. A select group of six participants, based in Amsterdam, partakes in a dense array of tutorials, workshops, excursions, a practice-related case-study and encounters with artists, art professionals and cultural producers. MORE HERE


OPEN CALL Taiwan | National Musuem of Marine Science & Technology – apply by 15 February 2015

Artists from all countries are invited to submit a proposal for an eco-art project focused on the marine environment on the theme “Paradise – Ocean Sustainability”. Selected artists will be invited for a 25-day residency in Keelung, Taiwan from May 14 to June 8, 2015. Selected artists receive a stipend, airfare, accommodation, meals and volunteer help.
