A cultural partnership between the City of London and local businesses, Sculpture in the City is an urban sculpture park in the form of an annual exhibition project. The Open Call for the 2018 iteration is open to international sculptors to submit outdoor-capable sculptures available for display from May 2018 to May 2019. OPEN CALL | Global | Call for Proposals | Center Stage Korea 2018 – 30 November 2017
Korea Arts Management Service is offering grants to international initiatives (venues, festival organisers, networks) that deliver projects with Korean artists and is financially responsible to the artists. The project must start and end between February 2018 and December 2019 and performance works or programmes will be prioritised. The grant will be paid to the Korean artists directly and can partially cover airfares and shipping costs. MORE HERE
OPEN CALL | Tainan, Taiwan | Call for Resident Artists | Soulangh Artist Village (SAV) – 11 December 2017
Located in Tainan, SAV invites international visual artists (including interdisciplinary, performance and photographic artists) to apply for its 2018 Artist in Residency Program (AIR) to create new work in response to theme ‘Site-Specific Art’ and live in close proximity to local craftsmen and artisans. Apart from free accommodation, the organisation will provide successful applicants with a living cost subsidy of maximum TWD30,000 per month (approx. USD994). There will also be the opportunity to receive Presentation Expense Funds worth TWD100,000 (approx. INTERNSHIP | New York City | Unpaid Internship | Lower East Side Printshop – 15 November 2017
The Printshop is the largest and oldest openly accessible printmaking studio in New York City, hosting artist residencies, classes, workshops, exhibitions, lectures and artists’ talks. Taking place between January to May 2018, the Printshop’s next round of internships offer opportunities to improve printmaking skills, meet other artists and instructors, and learn about professional contemporary art practice. Students can receive academic credit or use the Printshop’s studio space in exchange for their time. MORE HERE
OPEN CALL | Global | Call for Entries | 12th International Arte Laguna Prize – 16 November 2017
Organised by the Italian Cultural Association MoCA, the 2017 International Arte Laguna Prize is calling all artists without restrictions to submit their works of any themes. Entries are divided into the following categories: Painting, Sculpture and Installation, Virtual Art, Photographic Art, Digital Graphics, Video Art and Short Films, Performance, Land Art and Urban Art. Five cash prizes of ERU7,000 (approx. USD8,147) each will be assigned to 5 winners. There are other awards/grants and international professional development opportunities including exhibition and residency programmes. The general submission fee is EUR55 (approx. USD64) for 1 work and EUR50 (approx. USD59) for every additional work submitted to the same section. Applicants under 25 years old are entitled to entry fee discounts. MORE HERE

ArtAsiaPacific (AAP) is accepting applications for Editorial and Design Internships taking place between January and March 2018. Lasting 3 – 4 months, the full-time internships are based in AAP‘s editorial office in Hong Kong. Depending on their focus, interns will learn basic editorial and design skills of magazine publishing and are eventually encouraged to produce at least one article or design a section of the magazine. Applicants will be currently enrolled in university (undergraduate or post-graduate) or recent graduates. Journalism, art history or design students/graduates are preferred.
