Patrick attended Williams College in the United States, where he studied Chinese and art history. While still at school, he worked with the Williams College Museum of Art and the Clark Art Institute in the education and curatorial departments. After graduation, Patrick spent six months studying Chinese language and literature in Taipei, Taiwan, followed by a ten-month Fulbright research project in Hangzhou, China, for which he focused on contemporary calligraphy and its relation to the wider art world.
Patrick joined the Art Radar team as Intern in January of 2012.
